The Gauge
1 Model Railway Association will again be hosing
the event and will be presenting a stand at the
event. The group will have the Gauge 1
exhibition layout with them, The Association are
expecting to be running trains on the layout
throughout the event. The club was established
in the 1940's and has since grown to become a
world wide organisation. This year the display
will feature the clubs show case layout:-
"Dobson Bridge" along with live steam
models along with radio controlled model trains.

showing at this years Big Model and Hobby Show.
THE Southport Woodcarving Group will be doing demonstrations thought-out the day. The group will also have a range of items on display that they have made. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about this practical hobby and also how you can become a member of the group.
Background:- The Southport Woodcarving Group is made up of a membership of around 25 men and women, who meet every Wednesday afternoon. The group runs activities from early September to the end of May, each year, within the United Reformed Church Hall, Grosvenor Road, Birkdale.
