Gauge 1 Live Steam

  

The Gauge 1 Model Railway Association will again be hosing the event and will be presenting a stand at the event. The group will have the Gauge 1 exhibition layout with them, The Association are expecting to be running trains on the layout throughout the event. The club was established in the 1940's and has since grown to become a world wide organisation. This year the display will feature the clubs show case layout:- "Dobson Bridge" along with live steam models along with radio controlled model trains.

Southport Model Boat Club

THIS local club will be attending the event with an extremely large and impressive display of static model boats, of all different types and sizes. If you like all things nautical, these exhibits will definitely get you wanting to build your own model boats!

Background:- The Southport Model Boat Club has been in existence since 1983. They have been located at purpose build model boating lake, called the Jubilee Pond for over 20 years. The Jubilee Pond and the Club's HQ are located on Rotten Row, in Southport. The club's regular sailing times are Wednesday and Sunday mornings, although the pond is open to members and the public 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
